Muir Marine 1650 FunDay 30th or March 2025
The 30th of march saw light winds and tricky racing conditions in the harbour. But clear blue skies after a massive dump of rain on Friday and Saturday brought many smiles to the contestants of the 1650 race. The idea was to make teams of DF65 sailors and IOM boats. It’s a fantastic way to get to know other sailors and improve your sailing skills. For the first five races the IOM’s were starting first. When a team finished the race in the IOM, the DF65 would start and make its way around the course. After 5 races we had the DF65s start.
The following teams were formed:
Ken Anning. Will Thomson
Garth Halton. Colin Dunstan
Mark Hardwick. Gary Earl
Peter Kampe. Harold Wiegers
Peter Harris. Graham Saltwell
John Gallagher Andrew R Wilson
John Pursiheimo Marcel Koch
Sel McLennan. David Kerr
Bruce Deane. Phil Rowe
John McL. Greg Carter
Steve Elkington. Noel Eather
John Hudson. Nicolette Wiegers
