DF65 Handicap R6 Easter Challenge - Race Summary
The DF65 Handicap R6 Easter Challenge, held on April 13, 2025, witnessed a competitive fleet of DF65 class boats battling it out over ten races. Stranger things can happen but it looks like our treasurer is on the money, Basil Lines in sail number 38 emerged as the overall winner, demonstrating consistent performance with a low total score of 19. Lines secured several top-three finishes, including wins in races 5, 7, and 8, ultimately leading him to victory.
The battle for second place was tight, with Will Thomson (sail number 73) and Greg Carter (sail number 28) finishing with close total scores of 21 and 21.6 respectively.
